Let's be in prayer for Ben Hosch as he will be traveling from Taiwan tomorrow (16th) for his grandfather's funeral (on Friday in Iowa). Pray for comfort for the Hosch family as they remember the life of his grandfather, Harold Hosch. Pray also for Sara and the children while Ben is here in the States with his relatives.
For those of you who have been praying for Gary and Anne, today's Yale checkup showed for the first time: "zero rejection." Thank you for your prayers, and let us pray also for the donor family.
While the numbers might not be overwhelming, Muslims are coming to Christ in America too. Pray with us for Muslims during this month of Ramadan. And sign up on this site for daily prayer features.
Hey parents and kids--we're trying something new during the month of June: our pastors will have a children's message each Sunday during the worship service! (And you know what? Adults often say they remember the kids' message better than the sermon for the adults. Come and see for yourself.) :-)
The Muslim world is now observing the fasting month of Ramadan, a time of great spiritual sensitivity among Muslims. Today’s Ramadan Prayer Focus- Arabian Peninsula: the birthplace and epicenter of Islam. What happens in the Arabian Peninsula impacts the entire Muslim world. This is the birthplace and epicenter of Islam and the home of its two most sacred mosques. Islam in this region is extremely conservative, and conversion to Christianity is dangerous and rare. Zaine was a strict and devout Saudi Muslim – until Jesus changed His life! His is just one story. Many Arabians are responding to the Gospel! Some at the cost of their lives. If spiritual breakthrough happened in this critical region, it would impact the entire Muslim world. In this powerful video, Zaine boldly asks God for just that. Will you join with him in this prayer?
Thanks, Stavanger Sunday School, for leading us in worship last Sunday! Next Sunday, we begin our summer schedule with worship at 9:30 AM.
Join us this Saturday in celebrating Seth Johnston's graduation from Lutheran Brethren Seminary. Time: 1:00 PM Place: Bethel Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. (Reception for all graduates immediately following the graduation ceremony, also at Bethel.)
Today is the start of Ramadan (see the video for more). It's also the start of 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World and you can follow along on 30 Days of Prayer website (you can also find the link on our mobile app). Link for prayer topics: https://www.pray30days.org/2019/
Muslims around the world are about to enter the fasting month of Ramadan--a time of great spiritual intensity. This is also a time when churches around the world focus on praying for the Muslim world, praying for God to break through the darkness and reveal to them His precious gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. Let's join in prayer for Muslims during these 30 days of Ramadan.
Join us for Good Friday at 6:00 PM, and Easter worship at 9:30 AM.
